³ He will not let ·you be defeated [^Lyour feet be moved/slip].
    He who ·guards [watches] you never sleeps.
⁴ He who ·guards [watches] Israel
    never ·rests [sleeps] or ·sleeps [slumbers].

⁵ The Lord ·guards [watches] you.
